Slow down, please!
I take the road less traveled everyday. I am not ever in a hurry, and, quite frankly, do not understand why others are. Speed worries me. Impatient drivers behind me are harrassing. I admit to becoming impatient myself in a grocery store line, yet I usually opt out of self-checkout, which is just a convenient way to move people along faster so they can get out of the store to go do whatever it is that has them speeding up and down America’s highways. There is no such thing today as a country drive. My grandfathers would not be able to drive on this country’s roads, nor my father. My mother somehow hasn’t missed a beat!
